Pulisic Disappointed As Chelsea Block Exit

Christian Pulisic is set to stay at Chelsea this season despite interest from Manchester United and Newcastle, according to The Athletic. Pulisic’s contract with Chelsea runs for another two years and he was willing to extend it in order to make a loan move more palatable for Chelsea.

The American star spoke with Chelsea ownership about his desire to find a place where he can play more consistently but new American owner Todd Boehly decided against allowing a loan move, said a source. Pulisic is understood to be disappointed with the decision, especially in light of Callum Hudson-Odoi moving to Bayer Leverkusen on loan.

Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has joined German side Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan. The youngster will get more playing time in Germany after failing to break into Thomas Tuchel side.
