Chelsea have announced Wales captain Sophie Ingle has extended her contract with the club through to the summer of 2025.

The midfielder, 31, is in her second spell with the Blues, having initially had two years playing for them from 2012 to 2013.

Spurs chase £40m Serie A star

Tottenham are reportedly leading the race for Sofyan Amrabat as Antonio Conte looks to repeat his move for Dejan Kulusevski by plucking another gem from the Serie A.

The Fiorentina star has emerged as top target in the Premier League and beyond after an excellent World Cup for Morocco but it appears Spurs have taken the initiative as they look to add to their midfield.

Manchester United vying for Marco Asensio in January

Manchester United will try to sign Marco Asensio in January, claims a report from SPORT.

Asensio’s Real Madrid contract, which is up at the end of the current campaign, has not yet been extended. The Spanish winger might either sign a new contract with Los Blancos or have a lot of interest in him in the summer, so the Red Devils might be tempted to sign him in January for a lower price.

Jagielka to stay at Stoke

Stoke have confirmed Phil Jagielka will stay at the club until the end of the season, at the very least.

The former England international, 40, was due to leave the Potteries in January but will now stay until June.

Stoke boss Alex Neil confirmed the news at a press conference on Thursday.

Everton goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is high on Rangers’ list of targets

If the move happens, it’s more likely to happen in the summer when Begovic is a free agent.

The 35-year-old has previously played for Stoke, Chelsea and Bournemouth and is currently Jordan Pickford’s back-up on Merseyside.

Moyo Makes Barnet Loan Switch

Barrow forward David Moyo has today joined National League side Barnet on a loan deal until the end of the 2022/2023 season.

Moyo signed for The Bluebirds in August, and made his debut in the penalty-shootout defeat against Lincoln City, where he netted an equalising goal in the 13th minute.

Tommy Davis has re-joined National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough on a month-long loan.

Davis initially joined the Beavers in September, and played 10 league games for them, starting nine of those.
