Antonio Conte has made it clear he wants to upgrade his defence and Tottenham and Manchester United are set to battle it out to sign Inter Milan centre-back Stefan De Vrij, according to reports in Italy.
The Dutch international is out of contract at the end of the season and is said to be reluctant to sign a new deal, meaning he will be a free agent next summer.

Shamrock Rovers have announced the loan signing of striker Johnny Kenny from Celtic.
Kenny previously played for Sligo Rovers in 2021, scoring 11 goals in 32 games in the Premier Division. The 19-year-old signed a five-year deal with Celtic in January 2022 and had been on loan at Scottish club Queen’s Park before his move back to Ireland.
