Chelsea have stolen a march on Manchester United by opening talks to sign Neymar. That’s according to Le10 Sport, who reports Todd Boehly & Co. have approached Paris Saint-Germain regarding a possible deal for the Brazilian winger.
PSG have identified Bernardo Silva as a priority signing, ahead of next season, with the potential departure of Neymar providing for finances to capture the Manchester City playmaker. The report adds the Parisian club will seek a “good” price for Neymar’s transfer, who signed for a world-record fee of €222m from Barcelona in the summer of 2017.
Kim remains Man Utd’s top target
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have Kim Min-jae on their list since October and remains the main target. Release clause, only valid in July as United are in contact with agents; Newcastle are informed too. Understand Man Utd are also monitoring the French market for plan B options.
Rice: Let’s see what happens on future
Declan Rice was about as mysterious as he could be after West Ham’s Europa Conference League final win over Fiorentina, telling BT Sport ‘let’s see’ over his future with a number of clubs interested in signing him this summer.
He said: “At the moment, there’s a lot of speculation going on about my future. There is interest from other clubs, that’s out there, but I’ve got two years left at West Ham ultimately.

Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp will not get the chance to represent his boyhood club in the Premier League again next season after being released. The 37-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Bramall Lane, will end his third spell at the club at the conclusion of his current contract, departing having made 377 appearances and scored 129 goals. He did play 45 times for the Blades last season as they won promotion from the Championship and reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup, but boss Paul Heckingbottom does not think he is worth a new deal in the top flight.

Moussa Dembele has left Lyon and is available this summer on a free transfer. Dembele began his career with Fulham in the Premier League and scored 19 goals in 64 matches before joining Celtic in 2016. The 26-year-old helped Celtic win consecutive Scottish domestic trebles, before moving to Lyon in August 2018.
