Chelsea Next 5 Matches Compared to Man United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Man City

Chelsea were far from flawless in their 1-0 victory against Everton, but Thomas Tuchel won’t mind since they came away with all three points.

After Ben Chilwell was hauled over, Jorginho’s penalty strike proved decisive. The German manager remained tight-lipped about his intentions for the remainder of the transfer season, although he did admit they were trying to add to the team.

The victory against Frank Lampard’s team was the first in six years, after a string of defeats. Blues supporters got to watch their summer additions in action as Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling were given starts, with Marc Cucurella making an appearance late on.

Chelsea vs Tottenham

Spurs attempt to build on their opening day success over Southampton as Antonio Conte returns to Stamford Bridge. James Ward-Prowse gave them a scare, but they rallied.

Last season, they finished fourth, but their summer purchasing binge could help them improve. For Chelsea, a victory against Spurs would boost their momentum and confidence.

Leeds vs Chelsea

Their second away trip of the season is at Elland Road in west Yorkshire. Chelsea has won three of their past four matches against the Whites and scored three goals in each.

Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, and Romelu Lukaku scored for the Blues in their last meeting while Dan James was sent off. Leeds started well, coming from behind to overcome Wolves.

Chelsea vs Leicester

Chelsea hopes to cause Leicester more issues at Stamford Bridge. James Maddison and Wesley Fofana have been linked with moves away from the King Power.

Years of Champions League and Europa League play have hampered Leicester. A lacklustre Chelsea drew with Dortmund in May, but Tuchel will be hoping for more reinforcements by then.

Southampton vs Chelsea

Another team expected to struggle is Southampton. They started well against Spurs, but the hosts ran amok.

They play Leeds and Leicester before hosting Manchester United and Chelsea. Last season’s trip to St Mary’s was a 6-0 triumph.

Chelsea vs West Ham

West Ham’s pursuit of European football inside the Big Six remains to be seen. Under David Moyes, the Hammers fared well, but they’ve improved this summer.

They were tough opponents for United, City, and Liverpool last season. Christian Pulisic scored in stoppage time in Chelsea’s previous match after Jorginho missed a penalty.
