Chelsea breaks 54-year old record against Real Madrid despite crashing out of UCL yesterday

At the Santiago Bernabeu stadium yesterday, Chelsea beat Real Madrid 3-1 at full time. Both teams advanced to extra time, where Carlo Ancelotti’s team was defeated by Karim Benzema’s heartbreaking goal.
Chelsea was eliminated from the Champions League, but they did so with honor. Tuchel’s fantasy of a 3-0 win was destroyed when Luka Modric’s incredible pass to Rodrygo.
Luka Modric also stated that Chelsea will continue to be his toughest opponent after the Blues eliminated him from the UCL semi-finals last season.
Although Liverpool and Manchester City are still in the competition, the Blues will now focus on winning the FA Cup. After Ben Chilwell’s injury, Thomas Tuchel had a stressful season, but that didn’t stop him from progressing.
