6 Finals In 15 Months, Is Tuchel Chelsea’s Greatest Manager In History?

German tactician Thomas Tuchel has secured yet another final for his team Chelsea after they defeated London rivals Crystal Palace at Wembley.

Tuchel has been having a great run of success ever since he joined the Blues 15 months ago, and is currently on course to end the season with three trophies.

Recall that the German replaced Chelsea legend Frank Lampard towards the end of January last year, and went on to guide Chelsea to two finals last campaign.

He won the prestigious Uefa Champions league against all odds last season, and narrowly lost out to Leicester City in the Fa cup last season.

Tuchel continued his fine run as Chelsea manager by securing the Uefa Super Cup and guided Chelsea to also winning the FIFA club world cup last this season.

The German tactician still followed it up with a a Carabao cup final meeting with Liverpool in February, which they narrowly lost out on penalties.

The Blues will now meet Liverpool for the second time at Wembley this season making it Tuchel’s 6th final as a Chelsea manager.

As it stands, his record is really impressive when compared to previous Chelsea managers who have attained success at the club such as Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte, Carlo Ancelotti etc.

Should he keep up with the rate at which he gets Chelsea into finals as well as winning trophies, he is definitely in line to becoming one of the Blues greatest coaches in the club’s history.
