List of Midfielders Chelsea should sign during January Transfer window

The January Transfer window is less than a month away and Players will be looking to change clubs immediately after the end of the World cup. Several Clubs will also be looking to sign their respective transfer targets and one of those teams include Chelsea.

Aside in attack, Chelsea have a clear deficiency in Midfield and the Blues will be looking to sort it out by signing one World class Midfielder that will come and probably replace Ngolo Kante whose contract is set to expire.

With that said, there are some top Midfielders Chelsea could sign and they include;

1. Nicolo Barella

The Italian Midfielder sadly is not at the ongoing World cup due to Italy’s failure to qualify but without a doubt, the Inter Milan defender is one of the best in the business currently. His box to box ability and his eye for a goal makes Barella the perfect Midfielder for Chelsea who needs a Player with his skills.

2. Jude Bellingham

The Borussia Dortmund star is unarguably one of the top Midfielders in World football currently due to his performance both at club level and with his country, England at the ongoing World cup. He will not come cheap but Chelsea could do with a Midfield talent like Bellingham.

3. Declan Rice

The West Ham United star has been a long term target for Chelsea and with his stock rising especially with his performance at the ongoing World cup, Rice will definitely bring the needed quality that Chelsea’s Midfield currently lacks.
