Chelsea front-runner to sign £126m Barca forward, as Tuchel could unite with the Barca star

Masour Ousmane Dembele, born 15 May 1997 is a French professional footballer who plays as a winger for La Liga club Barcelona and the France national team.
In recent time, there’s been talks that link Ousmane Dembele to Chelsea
According to talksport, Chelsea seems to be the front-runner to sign Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele in the summer.
It won’t be a surprise if the deal pulls through because Ousmane Dembele has worked under Thomas Tuchel in Borussia Dortmund back in 2016. Dembele’s contract will expire in June and by then he will be a free agent.
Talksport reporter Crook had a chat with Sam Matter face. Crook said, ‘ This one has really taken off overnight.
‘Chelsea look like they are favourites to sign Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer.
‘He’s been letting his contract run down at Barcelona and he would be the first signing of the Todd Boehly era.
‘How do you think that would go down with Chelsea fans?’
Host Sam Matterface replied: ‘Well, they need firepower, don’t they? Someone who actually scores goals.
‘I haven’t looked at his statistics of what he’s registered over the last few years, but that is the priority area for Chelsea, putting the ball in the net.
‘They tried to solve it with Romelu Lukaku, they’ve relied on Kai Havertz as a No 9 over the course of the season but they just haven’t got enough goals, have they?
‘It’s been a problem for them.’
Dortmund bought Dembele from Rennes for around €15m and on his debut season he scored 10 goals and assisted 21 times. Dembele switched allegiance to Barcelona in 2017 on a mouth watering deal of around £126m.
Dembele has represented Barcelona 150 times in all competition in the five seasons that he has played for Barca. Although while at Barcelona, he couldn’t excell due to injuries and disciplinary problem.
