Other things to know about the champions league draw: One thing is that the so-called away goals rule has been removed, meaning that extra time and penalties will be played after the two teams draws in the second of the leg.

After the round of 16 stages, the quarter-finals and semi-finals draw will be on Friday 18th of March, 2022. The finals will be played at Saint Petersburg Gazprom Arena, with the match scheduled to happen on the 28th of May, 2022.
