Chelsea won 2-1 over Watford towards the end of the season, with Ross Barkley scoring a stoppage-time winner after Dan Gosling’s 87th-minute goal.

Ben Chilwell, Marcos Alonso, and Callum Hudson-Odoi were all given an update by Thomas Tuchel. Tuchel expressed his delight at seeing Ben Chilwell, who has been sidelined since November, return to the field.

“We also had Chilly back on the pitch, which was extremely fantastic, Tuchel said of Ben Chilwell. Overall, I’m glad with a solid final day. It’s more or less a muscular issue that damaged the entire of both legs and gives him a lack of force that he can just deliver, Tuchel said of Hudson-Odoi, who has been out since March. The examinations revealed that he lacked the necessary agility and force to play on the field, which is why we have been missing him for so long.”

“Marcos Alonso had a back injury in our first encounter against West Ham where he had to go out and then he missed other matches,” Tuchel added.

“He’d suffered something similar in the prior few games, and he played through the agony in the Leicester encounter.” Now that he could feel the muscular tension all the way down to his hamstrings, he realized it was pointless to endanger his life.”
