Chelsea are reportedly ready to double Victor Osimhen’s current salary at Napoli as they hope to lure tothe Nigerian to Stamford Bridge, with Manchester United and Tottenham also interested in signing the in-form striker. According to CalcioMercato, Todd Boehly is ready to break the bank once again to sign one of football’s most exciting talents in Serie A’s leading goalscorer this season, with Osimhen leading Napoli’s charge for a first Scudetto title this century with 19 goals in 21 league games.

Osimhen is Napoli’s second-highest earner with a salary of €104,808 weekly and €419,232 monthly. In total, he earns €5m annually at the title-chasing Italian side and Chelsea are ready to double that at €10m Yearly.

Arsenal Want Locatelli

Arsenal are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli from Juventus, offering Kieran Tierney in exchange, according to Calciomercatoweb. Signed initially on loan from Sassuolo in 2021 on a two-year deal, Juve have already paid the first installment for signing the player permanently. However, the Italian midfielder has been linked with a move away from Turin, with the Gunners reigniting their interest in the player who was a transfer target before he joined Juventus. As for Tierney, the Scotsman has fallen down the pecking order, with Oleksandr Zinchenko the first-choice left-back under Mikel Arteta.

Scheuer leaves Brighton after two months in charge

Jens Scheuer has left his position as Brighton Women head coach by mutual consent after just over two months in charge. Amy Merricks, supported by Perry Northeast, will take interim charge of the Women’s Super League match at Chelsea on Wednesday evening, the club said.

“Together with Jens, we’ve not reached this decision lightly, and while we appreciate he has given his all in the role, this feels like the right step forward for all parties involved,” said technical director David Weir.
