Mauricio Pochettino told how to unlock Chelsea’s own Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar

Chelsea have a very young squad with an abundance of potential – now, it’s Mauricio Pochettino’s job to facilitate the players’ development
William Gallas has compared Mykhailo Mudryk to Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar following the Chelsea star’s impressive performance against Fulham. The 22-year-old winger led the Blues to a two-nil win over Marco Silva’s side at Craven Cottage on Monday night as he finally begins to find his feet in the Premier League.
Despite showing glimpses of brilliance last season, Mudryk struggled to fully integrate himself into the Chelsea starting lineup. But, since Mauricio Pochettino has taken over, the Ukraine international has relished the chance to prove exactly why the west Londoners fought so hard for his signature.
In an interview with Gambling Zone, Gallas insisted that Mudryk has shown shades of Ronaldo recently – as well as Mbappe and Neymar. The former Chelsea defender said: “I think he has all of the attributes to become a top, top player.
“We can all see that he has the ingredients, we are just waiting to see his real quality. He makes things look really easy. The way that he can accelerate past players, he makes his opponent look slow.
“One player that was a little bit similar was Cristiano Ronaldo. When Cristiano was younger and first came to the Premier League, he showed that he had all of the technical ability and the pace. He showed incredible skill with his stepovers.
“Everything he did on the pitch was fast. Mudryk has some similar movements. I think when he can put everything together, it will be very difficult to stop Mudryk. He has the same ability as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Mbappe when it comes to his ground speed and acceleration.”
After scoring his first goal for Chelsea, Gallas hopes to see Mudryk blossom into a top player. The former France international added: “I hope that the goal will give him the confidence that he has been lacking and will be the start of something special happening for him at Chelsea.
“Getting your first goal for the club, he will start to feel the confidence and hopefully he can start to show his true self. I’m sure it must have been a very difficult situation for him.
“He would have been feeling the pressure after the start that he has had and the expectations that people have on him after he joined the club for such a big fee.
“We also can’t forget what is happening in his country. He’s had a lot to deal with and is still a young player. It hasn’t been an easy introduction for him at Chelsea.”

How Palmer and Reece James Have Complemented Each Other in Chelsea’s Lineup This Season

Reece James just returned to action for Chelsea this season after recovering from an injury that kept him on the sidelines for weeks but the synergy between the Chelsea Skipper and Cole Palmer has emerged as a pivotal factor in Chelsea’s recent impressive performance.
Their relationship on the pitch showcases a dynamic partnership that has been significantly impacting the team’s overall performance.
One key element of this collaboration is the strategic placement of Cole Palmer in the middle, operating behind the striker.
This positioning capitalizes on Palmer’s unique skill set, acknowledging that he may not possess the blistering pace or sheer physicality to excel in isolated one-on-one situations with defenders.
Instead, Palmer’s strength lies in his ability to receive the ball on the half-turn, exhibiting clever passes that ignite the team’s attacking prowess.
Palmer’s fluid style, characterized by his adept use of pockets and floating movements, creates a symbiotic relationship with Reece James.
James, a versatile right-back, benefits from Palmer’s strategic play by having the freedom to occupy the wing.
This tactical understanding not only maximizes Palmer’s strengths but also amplifies James’s impact on the game.
What becomes evident in this partnership is Palmer essentially playing as a number 10, operating in a role that aligns with his capabilities and enhances the team’s attacking dynamics.
By strategically placing Palmer in a central position, Chelsea leverages his playmaking abilities, allowing him to orchestrate the flow of the game and provide crucial link-up play between the midfield and the strikers.
The tactical harmony between Palmer and James is not just about individual brilliance but also about how their styles complement each other seamlessly.
Palmer’s intelligent movements and distribution empower James to venture forward with confidence, creating a fluid and dynamic attacking unit for Chelsea
