EPL Title Race: What Are Chelsea’s Chances Of Winning The Title Ahead Of Man City & Liverpool?

The race for this season’s English Premier Leaguetitle became open for teams like Liverpool and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea after Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur defeated Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City is currently on top of the English Premier League with sixty-six (66) points, six (6) ahead of Klopp’s Liverpool and 16 ahead of Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea who still has two outstanding games to play.

With the above stats, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea looks more unlikely to win the English Premier League title ahead of the two top contenders (Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Klopp’s Liverpool) but I will do a quick analysis on how possible it can be for the blues to turn things around within a short while.

Football is all about skills, a tactical approach to games, performance, and team spirit, and not mere belief to win matches. Despite Chelsea’s current position on the English Premier League table, the blues upcoming games seem to be the easiest compared to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Klopp’s Liverpool.

On the other hand, Chelsea has a chance of earning extra six (6) points with their two outstanding games in the league this season. The England international, Reece James who helped the team stay at the top position for more than two months has returned from injury and his incredible contribution will do a lot for the west London club.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City still has Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United, Klopp’s Liverpool, and Wolverhampton to play against before this season ends.

The Merseyside club, Liverpool on the other hand have Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, and a Merseyside derby against Everton to play against before this season ends.

With these remaining tough games for the two top contenders for the English Premier League title, if Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea maintains a winning streak until the last game of the season they would probably be crowned champions of England.
