Chelsea shift its attention to a 26-year-old wing-back after missing out on Jules Kounde

Thomas Tuchel and his men have lost two of their opening preseason fixtures with the latest against a fellow English side, Arsenal.
As a result of these poor performances, Chelsea and Tuchel will need to bring in new signings this summer to strengthen the team ahead of the new campaign.
The Blues are hoping to add a third signing soon after acquiring the services of English forward Raheem Sterling and Senegalese International Kalidou Koulibaly.
Chelsea has also had links with top players like Raphinha, De Jong, Nathan Ake, and Lewandowski this summer.
According to reports from the Evening Standard, the Blues have turned their attention to signing 26-year-old wing-back, Denzel Dumfries this summer after missing out and walking away from a long-awaited deal for Jules Kounde.
The Evening Standard report adds that goes the Italian giant, Inter Milan is more open to selling Dumfries than Skriniar, who has also been rumored to be on Chelsea’s wishlist.
Denzel Dumfries played 45 matches for the west London club scoring 5 goals and 4 assists in the process.
