Without much doubts, Chelsea football club will look to go all out in order to sign some more players when the transfer window opens in January.

Despite adding some players to their squad during the summer, the Blues have been rocked with injuries so far which has affected their results in the Premier League this season.

The West London club are currently occupying the 3rd position on the Premier League table but are now six points behind Manchester City who are in first position.

Due to that, Chelsea remain keen on improving their squad and have been linked with a move for Wolves defensive midfielder Ruben Neves when the transfer window opens.

The 24-year-old Portugal International, who joined Wolves after leaving Porto in 2017 has been an important member of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.

The young defensive midfielder was quite involved for Wolverhampton Wanderers last season where he scored five goals and created two assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.

Ruben Neves has also started the ongoing season on a brilliant note and has scored one goal and provided one assist in 18 appearances in all competitions for Wolves.

His impressive performances in midfield is believed to have caught the attention of Chelsea and according to reports from The Sun, the Blues are keen on bringing him to England.

The reports further claimed that Chelsea want to further strengthen their options in midfield under manager Thomas Tuchel and are set to sign Ruben Neves for £38million.

And with on-loan midfielder Saul Niguez currently struggling at Chelsea, it only makes sense if Chelsea pay the needed £38million so as to sign Ruben Neves from Wolves in January.
