Chelsea football club will most definitely be aiming to go all out so as to win the prestigious FIFA Club World Cup under the management of Thomas Tuchel this month.

The West London club automatically booked their qualification for the FIFA Club World Cup competition after winning the UEFA Champions League last year.

The Blues will now be aiming to kick off their charge for the prestigious trophy when they battle Saudi-Arabian side Al-Hilal on Wednesday evening.

But now, Chelsea could be rocked with reports that young right-back Reece James is expected to play no part for Chelsea during the competition despite travelling with the squad.

The 22-year-old England International, who was promoted to the Chelsea first-team squad back in 2019 has been an important member of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.

The young right-back has been very impressive for Chelsea so far this season, scoring five goals and creating six assists in the 23 matches he has played.

But then, Reece James has been out of action for Chelsea since he damaged his hamstring in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Brighton in the Premier League on December 29.

Since then, Reece James has struggled to recover from the injury and according to reports from DFN, he is set to remain on the sidelines for the coming weeks.

The reports further claimed that Reece James is now ruled out of the FIFA Club World Cup competition, starting with the semi-final clash against Al-Hilal on Wednesday evening.

That said, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is now expected to exercise more patience on Reece James as he continues his recovery towards full fitness.
