Chelsea football club ready to let £47.5million forward leave the club on a permanent deal

Now that the summer transfer window has been officially opened, Chelsea football club will aim towards reshuffling their current squad as they prepare for the new football season.
Do remember that the West London club were in good form for the most part of the 2021/2022 season where they ultimately finished in 3rd position on the Premier League table.
However, Chelsea football club have already confirmed the departures of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Romelu Lukaku (loan) and it seems more players will still get to leave the the club this summer.
And if reports are anything to go by, then Chelsea football club are ready to allow experienced centre-forward Timo Werner leave the club this summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old Germany International, who was signed from RB Leipzig for £47.5million back in 2020 has struggled to hit the ground running in England over the previous seasons.
The experienced striker performed below expectations during the 2021/2022 season as he scored just 11 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea football club.
Due to this poor performances, Chelsea football club have seen enough and according to reports from Daily Mail, the Blues are really to cash in on him before the transfer window closes.
The reports further claimed that Chelsea football club will not hesitate to sell the £47.5milion Timo Werner this summer if they can get a suitable replacement from him.
However, it is believed that the experienced Timo Werner is not short of transfer suitors this summer as he is attracting interests from Premier League side Newcastle United.
But then, it remains to be seen if Newcastle United will be able to reach an agreement with Chelsea football club and sign Timo Werner before the summer transfer window closes.
