BRENTFORD VS CHELSEA : Chelsea’s Team News and Predicted Xl for the Clash on Wednesday

Chelsea face Brentford in the Carabao Cup Quarter-final on Wednesday, 22nd December at the Brentford Community Stadium hoping to get back to winning ways after a poor run of games.
Chelsea secured a place in the last eight of the competition by beating Southampton 4-3 on penalties. Brentford, on the other hand, overcame Stoke City by beating the championship side 2-1 away from home.
Brentford last two Premier League games were postponed due to rising Covid-19 cases and are well-rested for the clash. Chelsea were held to a goaless draw by Wolves after the Premier League denied their request to postpone the game due to more players testing positive for Covid-19.

Chelsea struggled for most parts of the first half because Thomas Tuchel changed the formation for the first time to a four at the back in the Premier League since taking charge of the team.
