Current EPL table & Match review after Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all won today

Chelsea and Crystal Palace faced off in a London derby clash on Saturday afternoon.
The blues were looking to reignite their Premier title chase while Crystal Palace were hoping to continue their push for a place in the Top half of the table.
Chelsea were more dominant on the ball in the opening stages of the game as the blues forced their opponents back into their own half although they failed to convert their chances.
Crystal Palace also had a few opportunities of their own but the home side were not clinical enough with Wilfred Zaha and Olise guilty of missing clear cut chances as the first half ended in a goalless draw.
The second half of the half game was a similar story to the first half as both sides failed to convert their chances.
The away side thought they had opened the scoring in the 75th minute although the goal was correctly chalked off for offside after a consultation with VAR. The all important winning goal of the game would eventually come in 88th minute as Hakim Ziyech connected sweetly with a fine cross from Alonso to seal a slender 1-0 victory for the blues.
Arsenal also hosted Brentford at the Emirates stadium. The Gunners were looking to extract revenge on their opponents who had taken all three points against them earlier their season.
Arsenal were in complete control of the game in the first half as the home side laid siege in Brentford’s half. The Gunners were however unable to convert their numerous chances as both sides went into the first half break on level terms.
That would change in the second half as goals from Emil Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka proved to be enough to secured the Gunners a vital win against Brentford.
Elsewhere, Liverpool were also in action against Norwich City at the Anfield stadium on Saturday.
The Reds would end up taking all three points from that game as they staged a comeback win against the away side.
